This work introduces a novel microactuation strategy inspired by biological piloerection (goosebumps). Using light-responsive liquid crystal elastomers (LCEs) as artificial skin, localized goosebumps are generated under programmable femtosecond laser excitation, enabling precise actuation of surrounding passive microstructures.
