Our team participated in MEDICA 2025, one of the world’s leading medical technology exhibitions, where we were hosted by KUKA as part of the finalists of the KUKA Innovation Award 2025. The event provided an excellent opportunity to present HERMIS, our robotic, portable MRI system developed within EndoSurge, a spin off from the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, with contributions from members of the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems (IMPRS IS) and the University of Stuttgart.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors, industry partners and researchers had the chance to learn about our approach to combining low field MRI with robotic actuation to enable accessible, mobile and high quality diagnostic imaging. The team engaged in discussions on the technological foundations of HERMIS, its potential role in future healthcare environments and the broader implications of portable imaging systems.
Our booth was located at the KUKA booth in Hall 10 / A22, where we showcased the system and interacted with a diverse audience of clinicians, engineers and industry representatives.
