We are proud to share that our team recently participated in meccanica feminale 2026, held from 24/02 to 28/02/2026 at Furtwangen University.
meccanica feminale is a long-standing winter school initiative supported by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Wurttemberg. Since 2010, it has provided a dedicated platform for female students and professionals in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and broader engineering sciences, while also welcoming participants from other STEM disciplines.
About the Event
The winter school brings together participants from universities, universities of applied sciences, cooperative education institutions, and industry. Through a modular structure, attendees can design their own schedule by selecting from one- or three-day courses, workshops, and accompanying networking events.
The academic program is delivered exclusively by female lecturers from academia and industry, offering both advanced technical expertise and opportunities to strengthen essential soft skills. Beyond coursework, the event emphasizes networking, mentorship, and peer exchange, fostering a supportive environment within traditionally male-dominated fields.
The project is organized under the framework of the state initiative "Women in MINT Professions in Business, Science and Research" and managed by Netzwerk F.I.T under the direction of Prof. Dr. Ulrike Busolt.
Our Participation
We are pleased that Eungyoul Oh represented our team at this year’s winter school. Participation in events such as meccanica feminale reflects our commitment to academic exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and active engagement within the broader engineering community.
We look forward to future opportunities for collaboration and continued involvement in initiatives that promote innovation, diversity, and professional development in engineering and STEM fields.
