We're cordially inviting all universitary members, especially from SimTech, SFB 1313 and the Institute of Applied Mechanics (MIB) including collaborators and friends, to the official inauguration ceremony of the Porous Media Lab, commonly referred to as PML, on Thursday, 24 November 2022. The ceremony will take place at the Visualization Research Center (VISUS, see below under 'Venue').
The inaugural ceremony will be opened by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Wolfram Ressel, the Rector of the University of Stuttgart, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Holger Steeb, the initiator of the PML. After the official part of the event there will be a reception with finger food and soft drinks as well as guided tours to the facilities of the PML (Verfügungsgebäude, Allmandring 5b, 70569 Stuttgart) by the team of Prof. Holger Steeb.
